The business also refurbishes, maintains and restores all kinds of field kitchens. Restorations of the cookers are made like cannons to the extent required by the customer, designed on a case-by-case basis.

This service mainly concerns old finnish field kitchens model 29 and its various modernization versions. Newer domestic cookers are also potential renovations. The different levels of refurbishment and maintenance of the field cooker as well as the work durations are roughly as follows:

A = EXTENSIVE RESTORATION: 1-2 months

Dismantling and mechanical grinding of the entire cooker, sandblasting of the lower frame and axle and suspension, replacement of wooden parts, change of cooking oil-liquid and painting work (mask patterns included). Other metal and welding and similar sheet metal work.

B = INTERMEDIATE RESTORATION: 2 to 4 weeks

Washing and rust removal of the kettle, sanding and repainting, partly on top of the old paint, changing the cookin oil liquid and separately agreed minor repairs, such as installing lights. Possible small metal work, such as furnace repairs. Soda blasting of raster containers.

C = SMALL-SCALE RESTORATION: 3 to 14 days

Washing the kettle and changing the cooking liquid, other small jobs such as polishing kettles.

As agreed, the refurbishment of the digester can also be one of the levels above, even if a working combination is applied.
